Description

Boost your students’ phonics skills with this engaging Open and Closed Syllables Phonics Center designed for 1st and 2nd grade! This summer-themed activity helps students practice identifying syllable types by sorting sand cards into the correct buckets. Students will read words, decide if the syllable is open or closed, and sort them accordingly. Then, they’ll complete a recording sheet by writing the words and coloring a bucket to match the correct syllable type.
