All About Me Sculptures STEM Activity

Build community in your classroom today! This ‘All About Me’ Sculpture and STEM Activity is the perfect icebreaker for any classroom. I’ve included many options so you can use this STEM Activity and Challenge across grade levels with different abilities. This is a memorable and fun STEAM activity!

STEM (STEAM) Challenge:

Using only the materials provided, create a sculpture that stands at least 6 inches tall.

Students earn materials based on their answers, so each student’s sculpture is different! The materials you’ll need for this project are simple and entirely up to you!

Materials you’ll need are:

• colored pipe cleaners (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple)

-OR-

• paper cut into one-inch strips (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple)
• glue stick or liquid glue

These sculptures are 3D and make an AWESOME Open House display.
