Description
This Christmas Sight Word Race Phonics Center is an exciting and interactive way for 1st and 2nd graders to practice sight words while having fun. Using a spinner and game pieces, students spin to find sight words on the race mat and move their markers closer to the star. The first character to reach the star wins the race, making learning both competitive and engaging.
After the game, students will complete the recording sheet by selecting 4 sight words from the spinner, writing sentences with each word, and illustrating their sentences. This holiday-themed phonics activity is perfect for literacy centers, small groups, or independent practice. Add some festive fun to your sight word practice with this engaging resource!
