This Christmas Soft and Hard Sounds Gumdrop Sorting Center Activity is an engaging way for 1st and 2nd graders to practice distinguishing between soft and hard sounds. Students will read the words on the cards and match them to the picture gumdrops, reinforcing their phonics skills in a fun and interactive way.
After sorting, students will complete the recording sheet by writing the words on the lines and coloring the ‘soft’ or ‘hard’ boxes to indicate the correct sound.
