To differentiate for Kindergarten-1st, I didn’t have them solve the area of each room (I just didn’t use that printable). I gave them paper, blocks and lincoln logs to build the walls. You could also use Magna tiles if you have them. Instead of writing the room name, I had them put the first letter for the area they colored. I read the challenge to them, instead of having them read it and told them they just had to make sure the walls were taller than the mouse.
