Description
This Christmas Long E Sound Sorting Center Activity is a fun and interactive way for 1st and 2nd graders to practice identifying and spelling words with the long E sound. Students will use clothespins to clip the correct spelling (ee, ea, or ey) for each picture on the cards, making phonics practice engaging and hands-on.
After clipping, students will complete the recording sheet by writing the word on the line and coloring the correct spellingfor the long E sound. This printable phonics activity is simple to set up and perfect for centers, small groups, or independent practice. It’s a great way to strengthen long vowel recognition in a fun, interactive format!
