Are you looking for an engaging way to help students with reading CVC Nonsense Words? These cards and activities are great for helping students with fluency, blending, segmenting, and chunking larger words.

Place the cards on a ring. Print on colored paper to easily see the different vowel cards. Students will say the letter sound with each star, blend the sounds with the arrow, and then blend the letter sounds quickly.

Use the progress monitoring sheet to collect information to share with parents. Use the worksheets in centers, homework, or practice in small reading groups.
