Make counting coins fun this St. Patrick’s Day with this hands-on money math center for 1st and 2nd grade students! This engaging activity helps students practice counting coins and comparing values while reinforcing financial literacy.
How It Works:
- Count the coins on each gold pot card
- Sort the cards based on their total value
- Complete the recording sheet by writing the total amount
- Color a box to show if the total is more or less than 50¢
This interactive math activity is great for math centers, small groups, or independent practice. Keep your students engaged while strengthening money counting skills in a fun St. Patrick’s Day-themed way!
