Description

Make teaching solids, liquids, and gases simple and engaging with this States of Matter workbook. This printable science activity pack helps students understand what matter is, identify the three states of matter, and explore how matter changes form.

Students practice sorting solids, liquids, and gases, reading informational text, writing vocabulary words, matching objects to their state of matter, and modeling molecule spacing. The hands-on building activity allows students to physically show how molecules are packed in solids, loosely packed in liquids, and far apart in gases.

This resource works well for 1st grade and 2nd grade science lessons, centers, small groups, intervention, or independent work.
