Description

Make phonics review fun and interactive with this May or End-of-Year Syllables Phonics Center for 1st and 2nd grade! Students will cover the fish based on the syllable count in each word, using hands-on tools like pom poms, bingo chips, or play-dough balls. This engaging activity is perfect for literacy centers, small groups, or independent work during the final weeks of school.

After completing the interactive sorting task, students will use the recording sheet to color in the correct number of syllables for each picture word. It’s a fun and effective way to reinforce phonological awareness while keeping students focused through the end of the year.
