Description
Students will need dice to play in this Thanksgiving Blends Roll and Cover activity. They roll the die and find a word on the board with the matching beginning blend sound. This hands-on game reinforces phonics skills as students match blends like BL, CR, FL, and GR with the sounds they roll.
After finishing the game board, students complete a practice sheet by coloring the box under each picture that shows the correct beginning blend. This activity is ideal for centers, independent work, or partner practice and adds a fun Thanksgiving theme to phonics learning!
