Description
Make learning phonics fun with this Valentine’s Day Hard and Soft C and G Sorting Center! This interactive activity helps students distinguish between the hard and soft sounds of C and G while keeping them engaged in a hands-on literacy center.
Students will examine the pictures on the stamps and decide whether the C or G sound is hard or soft. Then, they will “feed” the stamps into the correct Valentine’s Day letter!

✅ Identify the picture on each stamp.
✅ Determine if the word has a hard or soft C/G sound.
✅ Sort the stamps into the correct Valentine’s letter.
✅ Complete the recording sheet by writing the words under the correct category.
This no-prep, printable phonics center is perfect for literacy stations, small group instruction, or independent practice. Make phonics learning festive and interactive while reinforcing spelling and phonemic awareness!
