Description
This Valentine’s Day Money Math Center is a fun and interactive way for 1st and 2nd graders to practice counting coins and understanding money values.
Students will look at the price tag on an item and count the coins on the card to determine if they have enough money to buy the item. They will then clip “Yes” or “No” to show their answer.
On the recording sheet, students will write the price of the item, the amount of money they have, and color “Y” or “N” to indicate if they can afford the item.
Perfect for math centers, small groups, or independent practice, this activity combines real-world money skills with a Valentine’s Day theme to make learning engaging and festive!
