Description

This R-Controlled Vowels Phonics Center is a hands-on way for 1st and 2nd graders to practice recognizing r-controlled vowels. Students will look at the pictures on the feathers and sort them by adding each feather to the correct turkey with the matching r-controlled sound. This activity is perfect for phonics centers, small groups, or independent practice.

After sorting, students will complete the recording sheet by looking at the pictures and cutting and pasting the words into the correct columns. This printable phonics activity is easy to set up and makes learning r-controlled vowels engaging and fun with a seasonal turkey theme. Great for building phonics skills in your classroom!
