Cause and Effect Videos for the Classroom

Are you gearing up for the new year? As we turn the corner into January, we start spending a good chunk of time going back and reviewing concepts that students still don't fully understand or need a refresher on. Cause and effect is a great one to constantly review! I've put together some of my favorite videos that I like to show to my class when I'm teaching this topic. Check them out down below!

Cause and Effect Videos

I'm sure your kids will giggle through this video but it gives a great explanation of the content. This would be a great intro video to start your lesson!

This video talks about how authors can use this and how students can use cause and effect to understand what they read! It gives tons of examples that students can relate to! It also addresses the “signal words” students can look for when they are reading! It's quick but effective!

This video is very simple and would be great to use for a small group that is struggling with the concept. I love how this breaks down cause and effect with the words “why” and “because.”

I love the real-life examples this video uses. You can definitely pause this video to assess your students! The video has students guess the cause and then the effect! It's a perfect quick assessment.

You already know I'm a big fan of BrainPOP Jr. They have a great cause and effect video PLUS there's a great activity you can use after the video is over to do a quick assessment on your students' knowledge.
